‘Welcome to Our World’ – 100 Families WA Interactive Platform – a DropIN Solutions project

The “Our World – 100 Families WA” interactive platform is an evidence based tool designed to immerse the user into the lives of people experiencing disadvantage. By doing this in an engaging and human way, the platform hopes to create greater empathy and awareness within its audience.

The website enables users to select and follow the experiences of four people navigating ‘the system’, engaging through their eyes and hearing their voices.

The platform showcases real photos of real people from various backgrounds, experiencing day to day issues in their lives. The story narration is spoken by those with lived experience.

From design, including capturing content (photos, videos, audio etc.) through to launch, the project took around four months to complete and incorporated many tools and skillsets, including Elementor; a powerful and flexible design engine of the WordPress suite.
